FOSFOGEL

PRODUCT

Biological product using microorganisms that solubilize phosphate, favor iron absorption by the plants, produce precursors of plant hormones while enhancing plant rooting and growth.

CHARACTERISTICS

FOSFOGEL® is a specific formulae designed for its application to the roots. It consists on an aqueous suspension of Pseudomonas putida BIRD-1 that contains over 10 million cells per cc. It is an environment-friendly, non-toxic BIO product, tolerant to desiccation. It has the ecological HSC certification www.sohiscert.com. The product is easy-to-use and store.  FOSFOGEL® promotes plant rooting and growth, while effectively protecting the plants/crops against pathogens. Its use is highly recommended in seed germination, transplantation, pre-flowering and fruit growth. It produces indole acetic acid, an essential auxine in plant development. FOSFOGEL® enhances nutrient availability through the production of acids and phosphatases that solubilize soil phosphates improving flowering and fruit growth. It exerts a biological control of pathogens through indirect antagonists, such as the production of siderophores that sequester the iron necessary for soil pathogens to proliferate.

DOSES

Seeds: Nurseries, submerge the seeds for 6 hours in FOSFOGEL® and plant normally. 1L of FOSFOGEL® can also be diluted in 10 L of water, mixed with 250 L of peat and seeds and planted in the normal way.

Drip irrigation, sprinkler or hose: Dilute FOSFOGEL® in water to 1% and apply the mixture in drips or sprinklers..

By immersion (bare roots or cuttings): Without diluting the product submerge the root or cutting in the liquid solution and transplant in soil or peat.
